Asus U6V Laptop


Asus Korea recently unveiled Asus U6V laptop which boasts a bamboo cover and high-end configuration. Powered by an Intel Core 2 DUo T9400 processor, the notebook sports a 4GB of main memory, an nVidia GeForce 9300M GS graphics engine with 256MB of DDR2 video memory, a 320GB of hard drive, and a 12.1-inch WXGA LED backlight LCD screen. Furthermore, it is equipped with 802.11a/b/g/n WiFI connectivity, HDMI out port, and either a DVD SuperMulti burner or Blu-Ray drive. Not sure abou the price, but it doesn’t sound cheap at all…

Foxit eSlick Reader


One of my most wanted gadget is a portable or hand-held e-book reader like Amazon’s Kindle. Unfortunately, its $359.99’s price tag isn’t cheap and I surely think twice before I spend my four hundred bucks for a gadget like that. The good news is, Foxit, the company behind the famous Foxit Reader software, has started accepting pre-order for their newest product called eSlick Reader. Priced at just $259.99, this cheap handy device offers a maximum resolution of 800×600 with a 4 shades of grey, a built-in 128MB of storage with SD media card slot (up to 4GB supported) for additional space, USB connection, and Linux-based OS. It also comes with a built-in MP3 player, a document editing tool that can zoom your PDF document up to 400%, and of course, its own Foxit Reader software. Moreover, eSlick Reader is thick (1cm) and lightweight (180gr) as well.

Dell Inspiron Mini 10 Netbook


Dell Japan officially announced the upcoming release of the brand new Inspiron Mini 10 netbook. Powered by a nice powerful Intel Atom Z520 (1.33Ghz) processor, the mini laptop boasts a 10-inch display with a resolution of 1366 x 768, a 160GB of hard drive, built-in GPS navigation module, a 802.11b/g WiFI connectivity, Bluetooth, an integrated 1.3 megapixel webcam module, and a 1GB of main memory. Sounds like an above-the-average netbook that is worthed buying…
